I am Ojara
and todayI am Kenyan

What should be Kenyan ail
what is Kenyan grief
Fails to alienate me from that country
It makes me feel more Kenyan than I ever thought
I feel Kenyan today and it has no effect on my Ugandaness and only validates it

I have prayed quietly in heart
Two days now that the ordeal at #WestGate ends and yet it hasn't and it rends my heart
Today I know I am Ugandan but I feel very Kenyan and my house seems right outside WestGate
I think to myself that everyone who would manipulate themselves and any other into destroying and demeaning life is  An ALIEN in the worst sense
Calling them inhumane is not fair because that presupposes undertsndaing them. I don't.

Today, I feel Kenyan because somehow, I am in pain because they are in pain
Today, I know that many people that I know are Kenyans.
I know that Prime Minister Cameron Of Britain is Kenyan for His actions,
I know that Israelites, Britons, Americans, Somalians, Ugandans, Tanzanians are Kenyan bacause I have heard their re-actions and their cries have betrayed their truth.

In the midst of my questions, I have discovered a great truth "When another country goes through the same, we will be of that nationality" something terrorists do not understand.
WE ARE ONE
WE ARE THE IMAGE OF GOD and TOday, We are Kenyan
